CHE offers links to additional resources so you may explore and share these environmental health topics further.
Because Health
In 2018 CHE created a new environmental health educational website called Because Health, which is now hosted by our partners at the Center for Environmental Health. With a focus on making scientific based evidence approachable and actionable, Because Health makes environmental health more accessible. Because Health brings you everything you need to know about how the places we live, work, and play impact our health. Through a combination of science-based tips, guides, and expert advice, it's Because Health's mission to show people simple ways to create a healthier future for themselves and their communities.
Toxipedia
Toxipedia was founded in 2006 by Steve G. Gilbert, PhD, DABT. Dr. Gilbert created this site as a free toxicology encyclopedia offering articles and resources about toxic chemicals, health conditions, ethical considerations, the history of toxicology, laws and regulation, teaching materials and PowerPoint presentations. This diverse material was gathered under the organizing principle that toxicological information is best understood and acted upon when scientific information is placed in the context of history, society and culture.
Searchable Databases
