CHE-WA Coordinator Receives 2016 Public Health Leadership Award

CHE-Washington coordinator Gail Gensler was recently awarded the 2016 Washington State Public Health Association's Public Health Leadership Award. As the co-founder and leader of CHE-Washington's Children's Environmental Health Working Group, Gail successfully grew this volunteer group to over 200 members across 110 organizations. Their accomplishments include hosting several successful conferences, creating important educational materials and changing school policies around environmental exposures. This working group continues to offer a dynamic forum for discussing the science on children's environmental health and what we can do to better protect children's health.
